AGP does not give quotes over the phone simply because it’s best for you, the customer, and AGP, as an entity, that all information be transcribed between both parties remain on file for reviewing & legal purposes.
You are 100% responsible for the accuracy of your artwork. Due to the heavy workload at AGP, some work may contain errors. Therefore, we suggest that you proof all design & text of your Artwork prior to approving for printing.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All jobs under $800 require a 100% advanced payment due immediately upon placing an order unless stated otherwise. It is the policy of AGP that payments are strictly non-refundable once an order is processed.
AGP does not guarantee the exact color of web colored files (including darkness or brightness) and cuts on jobs without ample cutting space. Due to our gang run printing process some colors or cuts may be slightly off. For best quality printing make sure your artwork has a quarter inch bleed and your images are in CMYK color model/mode
By sending specifications, images or files to AGP, client represents that client is the sole author of the work and possesses all rights to use such specifications, images or files, including but not limited to any exclusive licenses. Client further represents that the specifications, images or files do not infringe upon any statutory copyright, common law right, trademark, license or any other proprietary right. In furnishing such specifications, images or files to AGP, client agrees to hold AGP harmless against any claims whatsoever associated with their use or exploitation.
If job/delivery is impaired by an act of God/nature, electrical/machinery failure, shipping delays or cancellations, etc., AGP will make a reasonable attempt to complete and deliver the customer’s job; however, Client agrees not to hold AGP liable if delivery is impaired or delayed by an such act of God, electrical failures, airline delays or cancellations, or any other unforeseeable delay in delivery.
Refund Policy
All sales are final. Since we customize each order according to your file and exact specifications, no refunds are given 30 minutes after AGP processes your order, which means AGP has received your necessary materials (i.e., digital files and payment) and has begun work on your job (i.e., your job is in production).
If we verify that we have made an error, we will re-run the order. We must be notified within 48 hours from delivery of any defects. In order to receive the replacement, customer must return 10% of the defective order within 2 days of their receipt. We will re-run the order with the original turnaround time of order.
In some cases, a partial or full refund may be extended to the customer if no work has been completed by AGP for a specific order. Such refund would be adjusted to cover any fees charged for proofs or other services associated with that order as well as bank transaction fees/credit card transactions.
Orders that are not yet in production within 5 days of order approval already incur additional equipment, labor, and inventory costs for AGP. Orders not approved for Design or print by customer within 90 days of the order being placed will be nonrefundable and will incur a fee of 12.5% of the original invoice total for each 30 day period thereafter until 100% of the original invoice total has been accrued in fees.
Each order made from AGP is a contract between you, as the customer making the order, and AGP. The fact that you have made an order on behalf of a third party does not absolve you of liability to AGP. As such, any decision by the third party not to accept the particular items printed or to cancel the order with you does not affect your liability to AGP.
Design
All graphic design work rendered by AGP is the intellectual property of AGP or employees thereof and is sold to you, the client, for personal, promotional or print purposes only and are not to be manipulated at any time. You cannot alter the design or place any images over the design unless sanctioned by AGP. If you need any design altered, then you must contact AGP and we can have that done for you. ALL JOBS designed or printed by AGP will be tagged with our Signature Trademark unless we deem it unnecessary. If you request that the tag not be on the design, there will be a $10 fee to have it removed. You are allotted 3 proof changes to your initial design proof, any major change or addition or redesign thereafter will require applicable fee.
Proofs
It is the customer’s responsibility to proof the file and check for any discrepancies or errors. No job will be sent to press without your approval. Once you have approved the proof and submitted your print job, you will be unable to make any further changes. We are not liable for delays in the order caused by customer’s non-approval of the proof.
An online proof is by no means an accurate color reproduction of your final printed piece but is the final opportunity for you to check the layout, bleeds, crops, and final text. Electronic proofs do not show transparency and overprint issues. Neither do they show color change from RGB or Pantone to CMYK.
Customer is fully responsible for all that is contained in the final approved proof.
AGP offers printed proofs that show reasonable likeness to the final printed pieces. Such proofs are recommended for color-critical art and must be requested by the customer when the print order is made. Hard copy proofs are printed on a substrate different from the actual paper stock/substrate and while its main purpose is to show color, variations may occur depending on the finish selected (AQ, matte, UV) for the final print job. We do not offer hard copy proofs for art that would be printed on uncoated paper.
The request for a hard copy proof may involve an additional fee and would extend the amount of time needed to complete the job. For orders where a hard copy proof has been requested, the approval & payment for print must be received by AGP on or before our published cut-off times. We will make every effort to match colors in production when a hard copy proof is requested. However, it is the customer’s responsibility to determine if they need a hard copy proof with their print
Color Accuracy
AGP will reproduce color from submitted print-ready files as closely as possible, but we cannot exactly match color and density. Because of inherent limitations with the printing process, as well as neighboring image ink requirements, the accuracy of color reproduction is not guaranteed. By placing an order with AGP, you agree to this limitation. We will try our best to match the gradient density of each color, but we accept no responsibility for color variations between submitted files and the final printed piece. Under no circumstances will a reprint be honored for color variations that have occurred during the printing process. We are not liable for color matching or ink density on screen proofs that you approve. Screen proofs will predict design layout, text accuracy, image proportion and placement, but not color or density. Application of UV coating may effect or change the appearance of the printed colors. We are not liable for the final color appearance of a UV coated product.
No Liability for Errors
AGP is not liable for errors in a final product caused by any of the following reasons: Misspelling, Graphics, Bleeds, Grammar, Damaged Fonts, Punctuation, Wrong cuts, Incorrect or Missing Folds, Die Lines, Crop Marks, Transparency, Overprint, Cracks on Folds, Finished Product Size. AGP does not make any changes on customer files submitted and approved.
Overprint and Underprint Policy
Due to the gang run method that AGP uses on some products, we cannot guarantee that every order will be the exact number of items that are ordered. AGP can only guarantee that it will come within plus or minus 5% of the number of items ordered. In most cases, you may receive more prints than ordered to minimize paper waste.
Right of Refusal & Reservations
AGP reserves the right to refuse service or products to any person or organization. We also reserve the right to change the price at any time even after we receive the order if the project will require a longer turnaround time or any other unforeseeable scenarios.
Changes to Terms
AGP reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change its Terms under which services are offered. The most current version of the Terms will supersede all previous versions. AGP encourages you to periodically review the Terms to stay informed of our updates.
